Real Fantasy features an amazing mapping system unlike any other fantasy game in the world.
With our custom mapping skin, millions of real world locations become interactive locations within the game. For example, all restaurants are now Blacksmiths where you can buy weapons; retail stores are now Magic Shops where you can learn spells and acquire magical items; gas stations are now Taverns where you can recruit Allies to aid you on your quests.
In addition, all of these friendly locations offer ways to earn Honor, including battling monsters that are threatening the location. Every day a player receives income for each location at which he/she has Honor. So, the more locations you visit, the more Honor you’ll earn and the more Gold you’ll receive each day!
Each type of location also has unique options available. You can upgrade your Stronghold at a Quarry, try your luck at Gambling Halls or increase your character’s statistics at a School.
Different types of weapons, items, spells and allies can be found at each location. Even locations of the same type will offer various, random items for sale. You’ll come across many common and uncommon items quite easily, but if you’re looking for a rare or ultra-rare enchanted weapon, magic spell or piece of Dragon Armor, it might require checking in on several places until you can track it down.
At all friendly locations you get Honor (and income) just by visiting, but you can earn more Honor from that location by spending Strength and/or Will. Additionally, Honor can be earned by killing monsters that are threatening that location. The higher you are on the Honor list at a location, the more Gold you earn each day from it. If you haven’t visited a location in one week, your Honor will drop by 50% there, so check back as often as possible to keep your Honor rankings high (and the gold rolling in) as well as to check out new items for sale and new threats that need vanquishing.
There are a number of common items that are readily available at most locations that offer shopping (Blacksmith, Magic Shop, Tavern and General Store). Items like food, water, wine and elixirs are often needed to restore your character after a hard day of exploring Dungeons, attacking Towers and raiding enemy Strongholds, so these items are easy to find throughout the world of Real Fantasy.
And don’t forget – you can always Hire a Guide to take you to any type of friendly location at the Capital City. Although you’re less likely to find the more rare items at these places, it’s always a good option in a pinch when you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for in your immediate area.
At these locations you can find weapons and armor to better equip your character.
These are the locations where you find magic items and learn spells.
Basic supplies can be found at these locations as well as a few other types of uncommon, rare and ultra-rare items including: Books, Amulets, Dungeon Maps and Tower Reports.
These are the places to go to recruit Allies to help you on your quests. There are many different types of Allies and each offers different types of bonuses to your character. You can have any number of Allies, but are only allowed one active Ally of each type.
Care to test your luck? Gambling Halls offer three games of chance to try to increase your gold stash and possibly win rare or ultra-rare items! Pirate’s Poker is a draw poker game. Traitor’s Tiles is a tile matching game. Devil’s Dice is a dice throwing game with six matching, 12-sided dice.
Raise your max Hit Points, Strength and Will as well as earn Experience Points.
If it’s time to build up your Stronghold, this is the place to do it. All Stronghold upgrades are available at all Quarries, though in some cases, certain requirements must be met.
There are three types of Hostile Locations in Real Fantasy: Dungeons, Towers and Enemy Strongholds. You can also Hire a Guide to take you to a Dungeon or Tower if there’s not one in your immediate area!
Scattered throughout the land are countless Dungeons just waiting to be explored and have their treasures pillaged. But beware – the monsters that live there won’t give up their spoils easily.
These are other enemy encampments where you can try to take out a group of monsters and reap the rewards for heroically eliminating the threats.
Every player in Real Fantasy has a Stronghold as his base of operations. When within range, you can attack an enemy Stronghold in hopes of earning big experience points as well as plunder some of that player’s gold. But keep in mind, Strongholds are fortresses in their own right and not easily defeated. Always compare your abilities and the defenses of the Enemy Stronghold before you attack as they’re not easily sacked!
